About the Artist – Sharon (Shane) Guinn is a versatile artist in a host of media. Her work is bold in color and with a whimsical flair. Her imagination runs wild in her bird images but she also enjoys doing realistic work in a variety of
subjects.
Guinn has always loved to draw and cartoon from an early age. Guinn is self taught. She jumped into different media and subjects in 2004 after retiring as a surgical nurse.
Sharon is also a musician and plays guitar, mandolin and is a vocalist. Her music is available on soundclick.com and songwriters of America. Guinn has performed on the south coast of Oregon and in Southern California. The local bands she has played with are Rogue River Jam and Spectrum Sounds.
