Dianne Renee Shilling

About the artist – Dianne Renee Shilling is a full-time artist who has been creating since she was a child Over the last three decades, her award-winning paintings, sculptures and woodcarvings have been featured in numerous solo and group shows in Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona and California. She has also received local, regional and national attention for her paintings and woodcarvings. She was a featured artist in the National Woodcarvers Association’s magazine “Chip-Chats” in 2001.  In 2015, Dianne completed the Alaska Artist’s-In-Schools Teaching certification training.

Dianne was born in a small logging town inland of Newport, Oregon and raised in the Willamette Valley. After living and creating in Oregon, Arizona, Florida, Mississippi, Virginia, the country of Brazil, Hawaii and 20 years in Fairbanks, Alaska, she has come home to Oregon and now lives and works in the beautiful small town of Gold Beach.

During Covid, Dianne was forced to cancel her teaching engagements and mural projects and decided to dedicate her time to creating artwork. After over 30 years as a business owner and gallery artist, she was teaching and working on larger public projects, but had always dreamed of publishing hand-drawn coloring books for adults and children.

During Covid, she created over 1,000 pages of coloring book material and since September 2021 has published 11 coloring books, 3 books and over 160 journals featuring my artwork, all available on Amazon, with more to come!

She also held a fundraiser for Wally’s House and combined it with her book(s) release/ Signing party on Christmas Eve, 2021, at Gold Beach Book Store.
